Acupuncture Treatment
Acupuncture is very relaxing. One session of acupuncture treatment may include the regular acupuncture and/or acupuncture with electrical stimulation.  Regular acupuncture involves the insertion of multiple needles on areas of a patient’s body.  Acupuncture with electrical stimulation involves adding electrical stimulation to the patient’s body through the needles using especially designed medical equipment. The decision to use of electrical stimulation depends on the patient’s age, health, and condition.

An infrared medical heating lamp is also usually used during treatment to improve circulation in the area of treatment.

Additional traditional Chinese treatment techniques like moxibustion and cupping may be used depending on the patient’s condition and choice.  The doctor will let you know if any of these techniques may help you.
