Dr. Ruijuan (Jane) Liu is an acupuncturist and herbalist certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Liu has a medical background and practical experience in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. She worked as a medical doctor at Xi-Yuan Hospital of the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine for fourteen years. She earned her medical degree from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987. From 1997 to 2000, she was selected for the three-year "Learning from Top Traditional Chinese Medicine Experts Program," certified by the Chinese Ministry of Health and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
